The Swedish Arborist Federation (SAF) are proud to present the first course ever on tree architecture in Sweden!
The course will be held in English and is aimed arborists and other professionals to whom knowledge in tree architecture is essential to understand pruning concepts and evaluate growth history in tree crowns.
The course is taught by Joey Bokschoten, tree consultant at Terra Nostra in the Netherlands.
The course will have theoretical and practical elements such as looking, drawing and identifying tree architectural behaviour in the arboretum.
This fascinating science, developed by French botanists
in the seventies, is mainly available in French literature. The knowledge is not easy to obtain elsewhere, and it is generally not taught in arborist training in non-French speaking coun- tries.
Upon the completion of the course, you will be issued a SAF certificate of completion.
